Terms & Planning Boundaries

The fair print

What you can count on from us — and what stays with you.
Last updated [DATE] · City Story Club, Paris

City Story Club designs personalized, self-guided Paris days for families. These terms explain the scope of that service so everyone knows what's included before any work begins. In plain words: we edit the day; we do not control the city.

1. What the service is

You receive a self-guided itinerary "edit" — route, timing, food guidance, backups and notes — delivered in an app and as a private map. It is a planning tool you follow independently. It is not a guided tour, live concierge, travel agency, childcare service, transport service, or emergency service.

2. What is not included

3. Accuracy & a changing city

Your edit is created with care using the best available information at the time of planning. Paris changes — opening hours, exhibitions, restaurant schedules, strikes, transport and weather can all shift. Each edit is a guide, not a guarantee. Please confirm final hours, bookings and transport before heading out. Where relevant, your edit is marked "verified as of [date]."

4. Tickets & reservations

Where a place usually needs booking, your edit flags it. Families are responsible for purchasing and confirming museum tickets, timed entries, shows, special exhibitions, transport and restaurant reservations.

5. Food, allergies & dietary needs

Food timing and lunch guidance are part of the edit. We'll keep stated preferences and dietary needs in mind, but we cannot guarantee that any café, bakery or restaurant can safely accommodate an allergy or restriction. Families are responsible for confirming ingredients and allergen safety directly with food providers before ordering.

6. Strollers, mobility & accessibility

We plan in a stroller- and mobility-aware way when you share those needs. We cannot guarantee step-free routes, elevator access, or accessible metro stations — Paris accessibility varies by venue, station, street, weather and construction. Please confirm current accessibility with venues and transport providers as needed.

7. Parent responsibility & safety

Your edit is a planning guide for a self-guided day. Parents and guardians remain responsible for supervising children, making final decisions during the day, confirming the safety and suitability of activities, checking current conditions, managing transport, responding to emergencies, and following local laws and venue rules.

8. Order start & delivery

Your order begins — and the delivery clock starts — only once payment is received and your completed family questionnaire is submitted with travel dates, starting area and child ages. Standard delivery is within 72 business hours of a complete questionnaire (excluding holidays). If key details are missing, delivery shifts until we have them. A Rush option may be available subject to availability.

9. Refinements

Each edit includes one refinement round within [3] days of delivery — adjusting pace, swapping one or two stops, softening the route, or responding to a major preference. A refinement is not a rebuild. New dates, a new neighbourhood, extra days, or a new theme are a new edit or upgrade.

10. Refunds & cancellation

Because each edit is made for one specific family and trip: refunds are available before production begins. Once your edit is in progress, it is non-refundable, because the planning time has been reserved and started. If the finished edit genuinely misses what you asked for, we will re-edit it once, free.

If your trip dates change before production begins, we may be able to transfer your edit to new dates, subject to availability. [Confirm refund window and terms with legal support before launch.]

11. If we can't complete your edit

If City Story Club is unable to complete your order due to unforeseen circumstances (illness, emergency, capacity), you'll receive either a revised delivery timeline or a refund.

12. Personal use

Your edit — the route, map, notes and recap — is created for your family's personal use and remains the intellectual property of City Story Club. It may not be resold, copied, redistributed, or republished as a guide or commercial product.

13. Testimonials & anonymized samples

With your permission, we may use your feedback or an anonymized version of your itinerary to help future families. We will not publish your child's name, family name, hotel details, private travel details, photos, or personal messages without permission. Founding families receive a reduced rate in exchange for honest feedback and permission to anonymize parts of their itinerary as a sample.

14. Communication

Planning questions are handled by email before your trip; we aim to reply within [2] business days. There is no live support during your itinerary day — the edit is designed to be easy to follow on your own.

15. Our planning process

We may use digital and AI-assisted tools to help organise routes, drafts and notes. We share only the minimum information needed with such tools, and every final edit is reviewed by Sonia before delivery. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.

16. Pricing & tax

Prices are listed in euros. Applicable taxes, if any, are shown at checkout. [Confirm VAT / French micro-entreprise wording with an accountant before launch.]

17. Governing terms

City Story Club operates from Paris, France. [Governing law, business registration details, and dispute terms to be confirmed with legal support.]
